Q. What makes WGSA different from other golf schools?

A. Because we teach mostly one on one, we have a better chance to get to know you, your “golf course” personality, and your golf swing. We are truly interested in your golfing future, and will be there for you after you return home for support and guidance with your game.

Q. Will you try to change my entire golf swing?

A. We work foremost on the fundamentals of a good setup, consisting of grip, alignment and posture, most of the “physical” changes take place here. The concepts and confidence to swing the club naturally comes from fully understanding what you are doing and trusting it. This is accomplished through video, drills, and repetition.

Q. What is the Adventures part WGSA?

A. We are committed to providing a memorable golf school experience. We will pick you up at the airport and be your personal guide to the area. We locate our Golf Schools in areas with a plethora of activities. Summer of 2008 features Durango CO. which is an outdoor Mecca for trout fishing, hiking, mountain biking, rafting trips, and great golf, along with nearby Hot Springs, the Narrow Gauge Railroad, fabulous restaurants, and unique local shops. We can help you extend your stay and enhance your adventure if you wish, just ask!

Q. What is your deposit and refund policy?

A. A $200 deposit will hold your dates. You may cancel up to 14 days out with no penalty, after that your deposit will be treated as a credit.

Q. What are the accommodations like?

A. We use only the best featured hotels in town like the Doubletree on the Animas River, the Historic downtown Strater Hotel , and the General Palmer. All of these are centrally located in the heart of downtown Durango. Let us know if you have a preference.
