Eagle

Teaching Philosophy
Our teaching plan involves 3 parts: diagnosis, explanation,
and correction. The diagnosis part will start in the
initial interview process where you and your
golf professional will discuss you golf swing, flaws,
strengths, physical limitations, and goals. This process
will continue throughout the day as your golf professional
observes your swing and receives feedback from your shots hit.
The explanation of your golf swing will need to be “clear and understood” by you to continue this process and it is optimized by the use of video.
The last and most challenging part to this whole process is the actual correction.
Your instructor will use a variety of training aids and drills to teach your muscles the correct feeling and help build essential muscle memory.
We can accomplish this in the 2-day program (Birdie) but the 3-day Eagle
program is optimal and recommended. The 4 day (Albatross) program allows
you an extra day to build consistency and confidence in your improved game.
A Typical day at WGSA
9:00 AM
We start each morning with 3 hours of private instruction at our practice facility. Video swing analysis will be used by your professional to enhance the learning process.
12:00 AM
Enjoy a wonderful lunch and relax in the clubhouse, where you can reflect on the morning session with your professional.
1:00 PM
Head back to the range, to confirm the new swing thoughts and allow more time for the muscles to remember the morning session.
2:00 PM
We go to the golf course for a 9 hole playing lesson, this is where you will test your new skills and develop a strategy for scoring your best. Reading greens, target actualization, and questions of rules and etiquette can be addressed here.
4:30 PM
Back to the clubhouse to relax and review the entire day. Here we will discuss your strengths exhibited on the practice tee as well as the golf course, so we can plan the next day’s session.
