Student Testimonials
Here are a few testimonials from students
about World Golf School Adventures and our instructors.
"I want to thank the
entire staff at World Golf School Adventures for a
great experience. My instructor John was spot on with
his diagnosis and his explanation was very clear and
concise. I am already experiencing the fruits of his
labor!"
- Alan McKnight -
London, England
"Ed Campbell has been my main golf instructor
and coach for many years now. With his guidance, my
swing and overall game have improved dramatically,
along with my understanding of basic swing mechanics.
Together, we have worked on all aspects of the game.
He has a knack of quickly pinpointing my faults, targeting
areas of improvement, then setting specific direction
by breaking the swing down to simple repeatable actions.
Also, he has given me numerous drills to practice at
home to get me back on track when things get out of
control. Confidence is a great part of the
game of golf and when it comes to deciding on a teaching
professional, it is important to believe in the person
you choose. I have the utmost confidence in Ed Campbell.
He has earned my trust and respect. I strongly recommend
him as a PGA professional."
- Alan Rosenbaum -
Atlanta, Georgia
"Thank you so much for your patience
and knowledge, the last 3 days I have learned more
about my golf swing with you than at all the other
schools I attended before. You have a unique way of getting the information
across to your student and found your teaching techniques personable
and very effective. I will definitely be back next year for a refresher."
- Bobby Smithson -
Boston, Massachusetts
"Not only was World Golf School Adventures the best
golf school I've ever attended, it was the best vacation
I've ever taken!"
- George Smoltz - Oxnard, California
"I learned a great deal in a very little
amount of time. I am always impressed with individuals
that are excellent teachers and or instructors. What
I have found is there are some common characteristics
you find in virtually every effective teacher. The
most obvious of these is a true understanding and knowledge
of the subject matter. Without this, there is no basis
for the student to learn from. But in addition to this,
you virtually always see a “true passion” for the subject
that is seen and felt by the student. Another key characteristic
is the ability to communicate not only by words but also
by body language, facial reflections and attitude. There
is a pleasantness or peace that can be calming to the
student and help alleviate a great deal of pressure or
tension. The last common characteristic is an innate
honesty that can express strengths, weaknesses, development,
progress, etc of the student in an objective rather than
a critical or attacking manner. It is a manner of communicating
that creates a positive attitude and experience for the
student rather than a defensive and negative response.
I believe much of these talents beyond the knowledge
of the subject matter, are God given and you either
possess them or you don’t. In the time spent with
you, there was no question you possess the skills and
talents of an excellent teacher and use them effectively
for your students."
-Tony Petrelli - Denver, Colorado
"What a spectacular location for a one on one golf school."
- Mike Burns - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
"Thanks, Ed! Your one on one golf lessons really paid off.
I played in a corporate (best ball)
tournament in Baltimore recently where our team constantly
used my drives, chip shots and putts. A couple of
my teammates who fancy themselves as excellent golfers
were absolutely amazed when time and time again I
was able to drive farther and straighter than they
could. Your golf school has really given me the confidence
I needed on (and off) the course!"
- Shari Beckert - Washington, D.C.
"You run a wonderful program! The instruction I learned really helped me get a better understanding of the game in general and has helped to make me a more well rounded golfer. Muchos gracias, senor Campbell! "
- Alvaro Lunez Garcia - Mexico City (lessons were held in Orlando Florida).
